Commissioner for oaths may commission documents for use in the province which appoints them. They are not allowed to notarize documents for use outside their jurisdiction. While some legal documents may be sworn, affirmed or declared before a Commissioner of Oaths, it is worth checking the requirements of the jurisdiction where the documents will be used prior as you may need a Notary instead.
